Would you rather keyboard or write in cursive?__________

Dear Parents and Awesome 3rd and 4th Graders,

            We started to practice our Winter play this week! Yay! Make sure  you memorize your lines kids! We also did our MAPS testing on chrome books. :>) Mrs. Baima began teaching us keyboarding in the lab! And ask your child about the celebration of Dots painting! It was fun…

 

This week we begin our first project, The World of Graphs…see attached packet.

Due: September 30th

 

*Super-star Parents*, please continue to go over the Home Support packet with your child, assess your child’s work for accuracy, and place a star at the top of each page you review. When the packet is completed, simply initial the cover page and have your child return the packet the following Friday. :>) Thanks for your continued support!

 

Remember….all homework goes out in our binder every Friday. Please keep everything in the binder, homework and all handouts. Our binder is like a locker where we keep all important papers.

Dear Parents and Awesome 3rd and 4th Graders,

 

            Welcome back to school! I hope you had a wonderful adventure this summer!

            Our first week back to school was a success! We learned about our classroom procedures and rules. We also toured the school with Mrs. Baima and participated in our school’s Expectation Expo!

            This is our first Home Support packet. All homework goes out in our  binder every Friday. Please keep everything in the binder, homework and all handouts. Our binder is like a locker where we keep all important papers.

Parents, please go over the Home Support packet with your child,  assess your child’s work for accuracy, and place a star at the top of each page you review. When the packet is completed, simply initial the cover page and have your child return the packet the following Friday. :>)

Remember to check our blog, The Daily Up! I am up-dating the blog this weekend. What a year to remember! Go to Mrs. Franz’ pages on our school website and have your child post a comment.

  Oh, sweet summertime!
 
 

Dear Awesome 3rd and 4th Graders, Parents and Friends,
 
 
I hope everyone is having a great summer!Yay! I know that even though you are having fun going to the beach, camping, having BBQ's, seeing friends, swimming in your pools, and playing with your pets,  you are also reading in your spare time too! That way you will be doubly ready for school in the fall! :>)

Speaking of being ready for school... So that you can take advantage of the summer's Back to School sales, I am posting my supply list below!

Mrs. Franz' 3rd and 4th Grade Suggested Supplies List:

 
  • Back pack w/o wheels, so it will fit into our cubbies
  • 2” binder and wide line notebook paper
  • 1 package of 5 notebook dividers
  • 2 black and white speckled intermediate  journals
  • 1 pencil pouch or pocket that fits into binder
  • 24 pack of Ticonderoga pencils
  • Thin yellow highlighter pens
  • Pack of glue sticks
  • 1 bottle of Elmer’s glue
  • 1 Science board, tri-fold

 

Donations are appreciated:

  • Kleenex
  • Clorox wipes
  • Glue sticks
  • Thin Color markers
